Driving across the Northern part of the landlocked lower 48 lends more than a few kodak moments.

I already published a mammoth amount of photos from Badlands National Park, but I figure the rest of the trip is worth sharing, as well. I mean, I didn’t traipse all the way to New York and back to keep all hush hush about it.

Won’t Rocky Mountain National Park feel all neglected? Will not Chicago be jealous of South Dakota? Mountains and cities have feelings, too.

No? Then I digress…

Most of the trip was spent literally driving across the country. That being said, the view from the road isn’t half bad. And we did have a few days worth of exploring and photo ops.

I’ve posted a mix of iPhone and DSLR photos. Because I weigh 100 pounds, my pocket camera was all I cared to manage whilst hiking straight up into high altitudes. Sometimes it’s best — for your spine and your sanity — to leave the big boy behind.
